18:15 - Erik M. What do you refer to that was debunked? Chemtrails and that sort of stuff? Her being a total conspiracy nut makes me like her a lot less. Actually, I don't really like her at all. Especially after that discussion I had with her.
18:11 - Monolithic Still I get myself involved in some of the topics she brings up, even though I don't spend my time discussing it extensively. lol
18:09 - Monolithic Well I wasn't really fond of her supporting something which was debunked by not a government figure but a regular person OVER and OVER.
18:05 - Erik M. Yeah, exactly. It all sounds "good", but not amazing by any means. I noticed you distanced yourself from Heike's FB posts, or am I wrong? She's becoming progressively annoying with her posts if you ask me.
18:02 - Monolithic I dunno, but I think FB is one big reason for that. I find it somewhere in-between. It hits the "good" bar on numerous occasions and sounds OK to me as well.
18:00 - Erik M. Why is that then? Btw, opinions on the new Opeth? So far it's far from bad, but far from great as well. I might already prefer it to Heritage though. I do dislike Mikael's whiny vocals though.
17:54 - Monolithic Yeah I don't get involved in MS discussions as much as I used to, either. :(

Summoning The Bygones is another one of those releases that feels like it's a lot of really interesting, well-thought out components, combined together make an underwhelming experience, all things considered.
I understood that this is a re-recording of their debut plus a couple of new songs (and Dan Swano as a guest vocalist). should be interesting but I kinda wished that they would move on from their older stuff and build upon the great Sudden Death Syndrome
The drumming on this album sucked for me. boring as hell, i love the guitar playing and general atmosphere but the drumming killed it for me. you keep thinking "oh man this would be a great time for a nice black metal fill here or there" and it never comes.
