"Defender" was recorded during the Into Glory Ride sessions, but left off the album due to time constraints. A rearranged version of the song was recorded for Fighting The World in 1987, featuring the original narration by Orson Welles.
Re-released as CD single on Geffen Records in 1994. The re-release features completely remixed versions of both tracks. It has the song "Hatred" instead of "Gloves Of Metal" as B-side. |
