For me, after Excalibur and The Grave Digger, it almost seemed as Chris Boltendahl and Co were digging their very own grave. While the albums that followed sure had their moments, they didn't overly impress me as a whole. So, how does their latest effort fare ?

Just heard the album, and it's definitely the best thing the band has done since at least "The Grave Digger", and is easily the most aggressive and fiery album they've done since "The Reaper". The wealth of old school speed metal on offer here is the most obvious trait of the album, though it does slow down occasionally to let you catch your breath! Tracks like the crushing "War God", the massive anthem "Grave Desecrator", and the powersurging riffage of "Death Smiles At All Of Us" are instant Grave Digger classics, and the album is a serious contender for album of the year in the power metal category. Awesome stuff!

Yep... my one complaint about the album, is the solos are really short. And Axel Ritt is definitely no Uwe Lulis, that's for sure. But generally speaking, it's still a strong album with great riffs, and memorable hooks.

somehow I don't like him as person, we was a myspace friends, he was weird and his music seems he is posing and doesn't come really his 80's band (cant remember ) was ok, but GD ... he don't fit
