It was hinted At The Edge Of Time. A new symphonic focus and refinement that would bring Blind Guardian's sound fully into modern times. Production has never been as important in showcasing yet another distinctive album experience in their pioneering style of power metal. What lies beyond is assurance as much as surprise.

I don't get why this album is rated so low on MS .. The production is really good, the orchestral parts morph perfectly into the metal, most songs are catchy as hell, tempi are diverse, .. this is a sincere contender for best BG album for me

The mix seems so muddy to me. They wanted it dense I guess but this is not how you make it happen. The drums feel lifeless and the the other elements sound very crowded masking out a lot, with too little excitement going on. The vocals and the guitars seem fine, at least. I kinda wish they would remix it.
