My favorite Death Metal album of all time because almost all songs are killer tracks. Back then, I bought two versions (first CD pressing and digipak with bonus) so the album was always nearby, whether at home or in my car's stereo. It didn't loose any of its fame in 24 years, I still love every second of it.

Good album, indeed. Remember buying this back in 1995 or so.
I enjoy Reincarnation and in particular Apocalypse.
Probably their best album, together with the successor. Though I must admit that I have not been following all their stuff throughout.

Really awsome record. Songs like "Apocalypse", "Mind Corruption", " Reincarnation" and "The Fourth Dimension" are classics! One of Hypocrisy best.

For me, it's undoubtedly the best Hypocrisy album ever and one of the best European death metal albums along with "Massive Killing Capacity" and Fleshcrawl's "Made of Flesh". I have no clue why people give higher ratings to The Final Chapter or Abducted or even Virus with its awful vocals, vague production, and forgettable songs, really

I'm listening to metal for quite a while now and of all the albums I've heard in over thirty years, this has always been in my top five. I also like The Final Chapter and even Virus quite a bit, but it really irritates me that most people seem to favor those over the absolute masterpiece that is The Fourth Dimension. It simply is miles ahead of the entire rest of their discography, only Abducted comes close I think.

This is where they started going in a different direction, essentially their transition album from death to melodeath. Also the opener, Apocalypse, is a fantastic death-doom track, reminds me of early MDB.
