Biography

H8 was formed in Ploiești, in june 1995. The band's next year is followed by a number of concerts in its natal town, its most important, being its collaboration with "Paraziții", in the making of the first Romanian jam session between a hip-hop band, and a rock one. In the same year, a demo cassette (Dialect) is released.

In 1998, H8 takes part at StudentFest in Craiova, and in the next year, the band makes it to București , and on-air. They also release their second demo, with the help of Bogdan Hladiuc from Sin Order. The release is accompanied by their first concert in the capital, that took place in the renowned "Backstage" club.

The year 2001, brings a collaboration between Aliosha and the band "Paraziții", thus realeasing the song "Categoria Grea".The song is followed up by various concerts, such as the one at a music festival in Sighișoara, where a collaboration with K-gulă (former member of Racla) takes place. Another important event, is the band's participation at the Atomic Unplugged festival, in the "Fire" Club.

In 2003, the song "Schimbă-ți Atitudinea" is featured on the Sabotaj compilation, produced by Rebel Music, and remixed by Chello (Paraziții). Later on, a recording session in the Vița de Vie studio takes place. The session is finalized in 2004, with the band's final demo "Ce îți dorești nu poți avea întotdeauna".

In the year 2006, H8 releases its debut album, named "Nimic nou", in which the band combines elements of hardcore, crossover and alternative. In the year 2009, the band releases its second album, entitled "Printre voi". This album is much more aggressive than its predecessor. From 2006 until the present day, H8 played with renowned bands of the international metal-hardcore scene, such as: Sick of It All, Blood for Blood, Terror, Death Before Dishonor, Take Offense, Suicide Silence, Slayer and Madball.
