Nevermore - Trivia

Nevermore was formed after Warrel Dane and Jim Sheppard's previous band, Sanctuary, had disbanded.
Nevermore frontman Warrel Dane and bassist Jim Sheppard are both certified chefs, and once owned a restaurant together in Seattle.
Despite widespread belief that Nevermore got their name from the repeated refrain in Edgar Allan Poe's poem "The Raven", Warrel Dane has told on several occasions that it was actually taken from "Black Shapes Of Doom" by Trouble. The band still referenced the poem in the title track from their 2005 album This Godless Endeavor.
Jeff Loomis tried out for Megadeth, but was rejected because he was too young.
