Five years and several line-up changes later, Israel's own Melechesh are finally releasing their new album. Titled Enki, the follow-up to The Epigenesis now has an official release date. Good news for Heidevolk fans. Their new album is one step closer to completion as they have finished the recordings. The folk metal unit is preparing the successor to 2012's Batavi album that will drop via Napalm Records. What are your expectations for the new record?
Lock Up have some good and bad news to share. First of all, they announced an important line-up change. Their vocalist since 2002, Tomas "Tompa" Lindberg of At The Gates fame, has left the band due to "schedule/logistic issues". However, the band has recruited Kevin Sharp (Brutal Truth, Primate, Venomous Concept). The good news is that they will enter the studio in the coming months to record the follow-up album to Necropolis Transparent. The band is currently busy in writing mode and currently seeking a new label home and hope for an early summer release of the as yet untitled new album.
UK deathcore group Bleed From Within just released a new song which you can hear now. The track is called "Death Walk" and is the title track of their new crowdfunded EP, made possible entirely by the fans of the band. Ensiferum's European tour will then be an all-Finnish affair as Omnium Gatherum have also joined the bill.
