Punk pioneers The Damned will launch a full-scale North American tour next year in April 6th in Los Angeles, with dates running until May 21st. Prior to the trek, the quintet will begin sessions for a new album, their first since 2008's So, Who's Paranoid, this winter, and are planning a release date next year.

K.L.L.K., a black metal band from France, just announced the release of their next record, Le Brasier Des Mondes, on digipack CD and tape through Caligari Records (USA) in the next weeks to come. This conceptual release consist of three tracks, three "states", who define the cosmic cycles and their ancestral, archetypal and transcendental interpretations. Back in 2014, Candlemass bassist and songwriter Leif Edling announced his new band called The Doomsday Kingdom. Now, there are two important updates regarding this new project. Firstly, The Doomsday Kingdom will play their first show at Roadburn 2017 on Sunday, April 23rd, at Het Patronaat. Working with vocalist Niklas Stålvind when not handling those duties himself, Edling now presents the Never Machine EP to drop on November 25th via Nuclear Blast.
