In other news, guitarist Matt Perrin has officially joined the band as a permanent member. He's been helping the band as a touring guitarist for a while now. Canadian metallers Threat Signal have been hard at work preparing the successor to their 2011 self-titled album Threat Signal. The band recently shared a pre-production teaser featuring new tunes. You can now watch drummer Joey Muha jam one of the songs from their new album right here. You will also be happy to know that the album is coming out in 2014.
Canadians The Agonist finished an US tour with Danzig, Corrosion Of Conformity as well as selected headlining dates and waste no time in announcing the dates for their upcoming European tour in support of their recently released album Prisoners. The Agonist will be performing on this tour together with Arsis and Threat Signal.
"Uncensored", a brand new video from Canadian melodic death metallers Threat Signal has premiered and can now be viewed below. It was directed by Tommy Jones. The song is taken from the band's self-titled album released last year via Nuclear Blast.
Alex "Rudy" Rudinger, drummer of Canadian cyber metal outfit Threat Signal, has recently parted ways with the band. The band is now seeking a replacement. In a short statement, the band stated: "Unfortunately Alex has made the decision to quit Threat Signal and pursue other projects. So, we are looking for a new drummer. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for try out and requirement information."
Canadian based modern heavy metal outfit Threat Signal has revealed the details for their upcoming self-titled album and follow up to their 2009 release, Vigilance. Canadian metallers Threat Signal will enter the studio this weekend to begin recording their as-yet-untitled third album with producer Chriss "Zeuss" Harris.
The band issued the following statement: "On June 12th we are driving our asses out to Massachusetts to begin tracking our 3rd release with metal mastermind Zeuss. He has worked on many killer albums from bands such as Chimaira, Hatebreed, All That Remains, The Acacia Strain, Born Of Osiris, Shadows Fall, and many more... We are extremely excited to have Zeuss on board producing and mixing our new record!
So what can you expect from the new Threat Signal record? Well... basically we said let's write the heaviest fuckin record we possibly can. We've been experimenting with 7 string guitars and drop tunings since the early days, so we have decided to write almost the whole new record that way. We are headed back to the Under Reprisal days but with bigger balls.'
Threat Signal has officially added guitarist Chris Feener and drummer Alex Rudinger to their ranks. They will replace guitarist Adam Weber and drummer Norman Killeen, who parted ways with the band last year.
Frontman Jon Howard commented as follows: I'd like to announce two new members of the Threat Signal camp. We destroyed Europe with these guys, and we couldn't be more excited with the sound of the band right now and what the future holds together.
Replacing Norm Killeen on drums is Alex Rudinger from Frederick, MD, USA. I caught wind of Alex's drumming through YouTube. He has a large number of drumming videos including covers, and originals. My jaw dropped when I first saw this kid play!
Shortly after the announcement of the Threat Over Europe European tour and after the departure of guitarist Adam Weber in July, Canada's Threat Signal have announced the departure of drummer Norm Killeen. The band are currently seeking a replacement to fill the position.
Commented the band: "After three amazing years together, the Threat Signal camp has decided to part ways with drummer Norm Killeen. This was a mutual decision and there are no hard feelings towards each other. We will still continue to work with Norm's graphic design company, NME Studios. We wish you all the best with your future endeavors Norm; much love and respect. So now the drummer search begins! We're looking for someone preferably with touring experience, but if not, that's fine. We have quite a bit of dates coming up in October and November through out North America and Europe, so we're looking for someone that can really nail these songs quick and hit the road."
Pat Kavanagh, bassist of Canadian melodic death metal outfit Threat Signal has issued the following statement on the band's MySpace:
"I'm going to start this update off with the good news. We're playing a week of shows with our friends in Soilwork in August. Can't wait to play with those dudes again! Check out our MySpace for the dates. Also we'll have former Darkest Hour shredder and awesome dude Kris Norris filling in! So you definitely don't want to miss these shows.
Now you may be asking yourself "filling in?!?" yeah, onto the bad news. Here it comes again folks, there's been another casualty in TS. Adam Weber has decided to leave us. He has some personal things he needs to work out and we wish him all the best. We're still good friends and there's plenty more beers that we'll have together so no worries. I know this sucks to hear for a lot of you and I can list off a boat load of bands that have been through the same shit we've been through. Just know it sucks hard on our side too.
Threat Signal is stepping out of the European tour supporting (hed) p.e. Here's the band's statement:
"We sincerely regret to inform you that our 2010 European tour dates with (hed) p.e. and Atilla have been officially canceled. The tour will still go on; however, we will not be performing on it. We had worked very hard to make this tour even considerably possible, but due to financial difficulties we've had to abandon ship. We're back thousands more dollars than we originally expected, and we've been struggling ever since to find affordable means of transportation. We cannot justify or even find the amount of money needed to make this tour possible for us anymore...
