19:59 - Jaeryd But yeah, there's nothing I'd change about the sound/production on The Desanctification or Cosmosophy.
19:57 - Jaeryd I also prefer the sound of TWWTG and MoRT, but the 777s had a distinctive sound that I think worked for the trilogy, and did exactly what it was supposed to do. I might've preferred Sect(s) to have a different sound, though...
19:53 - !J.O.O.E.! I feel like both sides are let down by sound and production issues. A recurring motif ever since the 777s (The Libers aside; they sound awesome)
19:46 - 3rdWorld What? Its no way that good but quite decent. But the Aevangelist side just sucks. I can't stand it at all.
18:55 - Apothecary Will investigate more. And damn, the BAN side of their new split is really turning about to be the pleasant surprise of the year for me. Might be just me, but I really think it's their best since Liber III, at least

"This wasn't really planned at all. Pete was supposed to join us for the release party in Stavanger and that was all, but on our first rehearsal together just a few weeks ago everything just clicked. We did actually joke with Pete about him joining us for the tour, and little did we know that only two days after, Pete would offer his incredible talent to us for so many more gigs than planned. We're all really buzzing about this, and we think our fans will see this as a nice bonus", the band talked to Tristania.com
Norwegian metallers Tristania have issued the following band line-up update:
"Last summer, Østen (Bergøy) announced that he had decided to take some time off from Tristania to devote his time and attention to the new family members expected in August. A year on, it has become obvious that the time, dedication and efforts of fatherhood makes it hard to continue as a full-time member.
Due to this, Østen recently informed the band that he sees no other option than to make his decision a permanent one. Tristania has asked Kjetil Nordhus (Head Disco, ex-Green Carnation, ex-Trail Of Tears), who was engaged as Østen's temporary stand-in, to replace Østen on a permanent basis, and Kjetil has accepted the offer."
