Warbeast - Singer Undergoes Heart Surgery

According to the Dallas Observer, Rigor Mortis and Warbeast singer Bruce Corbitt has underwent heart surgery on August 10th after experiencing two heart complications in less than five days last week. In his latest video update, Corbitt has thanked fans for the support and says he is recovering.

Warbeast - Two New Members Join

Lineup changes are nothing new for Texas thrashers Warbeast. The Housecore Records band has once again added some new weaponry to their arsenal. This time they chose to bring in some young bloods to re-animate some fresh new life into their classic old-school style. Drew Shoup (20-years-old) is now the band's second guitarist while Lyric Ferchaud (17-years-old) will take over bass duties.

Warbeast - Announce Fill-In Bassist For The Upcoming US Tour With Gwar

US thrashers Warbeast are pleased to announce that Casey Orr (Rigor Mortis, ex-Gwar) will join them as their fill-in bassist, while on the road this spring with Gwar. The band's upcoming tour with Gwar and Wilson kicks off in Tucson, AZ on April 10th. The 16 day run, dubbed the Fate Or Chaos Tour, will continue through the month of April until it closes in Jacksonville, FL on April 25th.

Philip Anselmo - Split With Warbeast To See January Release

Pantera, Superjoint Ritual and Down vocalist Philip Anselmo and Housecore Records thrashers Warbeast recently announced that they will be releasing a new split album entitled War Of The Gargantuas. The split now has an official release date of January 8th, 2013 and will include two songs from each artist.

Phil Anselmo - Two Solo Tracks To Be Available On Split With Warbeast

As previously reported, Phil Anselmo (Down, Pantera) has been working on his solo project over the last few years. It has now been revealed that Phil's solo songs will be featured in a split with Dallas Ft. Worth's Warbeast tentatively due out in late September. The two songs that Phil will contribute with will also be featured on his solo album Walk Through Exits Only. The Warbeast previously unreleased songs "IT" and "Birth Of A Psyco" will be exclusive to the split even though the Texas thrash band just finished recording their second album.
