Good news arrive from the Enslaved camp today. It looks like the Norwegian progressive metallers are already forging the follow-up to In Times released two years ago. They have entered the studio again to record their 14th, yet untitled full-length release. The recordings are taking place at Duper & Solslottet Studios in Bergen throughout April, and will be mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios. According to their label, "the album promises to be original and refreshing - and to contain some surprising new elements."

This news doesn't really come as a surprise since the twenty-five-year old drummer has been performing with the band since Dirk Verbeuren left to join Megadeth last year. It seems that the past ten months have been a prolonged trial period for the young drummer, and now he's officially in the band. In addition to having played for The Arcane Order, Thusgaard was also a student of Verbeuren's.
