Raven - New Album Detailed, New Song Snippet Online

After 5 years since their last studio album, the new Raven album will hit the streets in April. ExtermiNation will drop in Scandinavia on April 22nd, in Germany on April 24th, in Europe on April 27th and in the USA on April 28th as a digipak version (including one bonus track), 2LP gatefold green vinyl version and download through SPV/Steamhammer. Tank - Reveal First Details About New Album

British heavy metal crusaders Tank recently extended their record deal with Metal Mind Productions, the label that re-released the band's back catalogue and issued their recent albums War Machine (2010) and War Nation (2012). Now, the recording is underway for the new Tank studio album scheduled for release in Europe on June 8th and in the US on June 9th. Titled Valley Of Tears, this will be the first album to feature the vocals of former DragonForce frontman ZP "Zippy" Theart.

Hell:on - Premiere New Song

Ukrainian metal band Hell:On is currently streaming their new track, "Filth". The song is taken from the band's upcoming album, Once Upon A Chaos, which is set to be released later this year by Ferrrum.com. Iron Maiden - Bruce Dickinson Undergoes Cancer Treatment

Iron Maiden surprised fans today with unexpected and worrying news. According to the band, just before Christmas, the band's legendary vocalist Bruce Dickinson visited his doctor for a routine check-up. This led to tests and biopsies which revealed a small cancerous tumour at the back of his tongue. A seven week course of chemotherapy and radiology treatment was completed yesterday. As the tumour was caught in the early stages, the prognosis is extremely good. Hopefully, Bruce Dickinson will win this battle and make a complete recovery.

Slayer - Releasing New Single For Record Store Day

The mighty Slayer are currently working hard on their new album. However, "When The Stillness Comes", the first new track from Slayer in nearly a year, will be available as part of Record Store Day on April 18th first. The song, accompanied by a live recording of "Black Magic", from the band's 1983 album Show No Mercy and recorded live at the 2014 Wacken Open Air Festival, will be available as a limited-edition (only 5000 copies worldwide), 7" vinyl picture disc exclusively at all participating independent record stores worldwide.
