Darkseed - Band On Indefinite Hiatus

Dragonsfire - Frontman Torsten Thassilo Herbert Dies

German heavy metal band Dragonsfire is mourning the loss of their bassist and vocalist Torsten Thassilo Herbert (he used to play in Dark Fortress as well). The band recently released their new EP Metal X. Dragonsfire didn't reveal the cause of death. R.I.P.

Cruciamentum - To Begin Recording Debut Album

After releasing a split and the EP Engulfed In Desolation in 2011, death metal legion Cruciamentum is finally recording their debut record. After a long period of silence, they will begin recording the debut full length album with Greg Chandler at Priory Recording Studios in February 2015. This album also marks their first collaboration with the label Profound Lore Records.

King Of Asgard - Announce Line-Up Changes

King Of Asgard has announced two line-up changes in their ranks. The Swedish Viking black metal act has parted ways with both drummer Karsten Larsson and guitarist Lars Tängmark. Mathias Westman is the band's new drummer. For now, they haven't announced a new guitar player but did say they are working on new songs already.

Endezzma - Announce New Album, Join Pulverised Records

Norwegian black metallers Endezzma have inked a deal with Pulverised Records for the release of their second full-length album. The finishing touches are currently being applied to the album, and it is anticipated that it will be released in the spring. More details about the album have not been made public yet, but it will be the follow up to 2012's Erotik Nekrosis.

'80s hard rockers Autograph will release their first new song in over 25 years, "You Are Us, We Are You", on January 15th via iTunes and Amazon. The track was written and recorded by the band's new lineup consisting of Steve Lynch on lead guitar and vocals, Randy Rand on bass and vocals, Simon Daniels on lead vocals and guitar and Marc Wieland on drums. Dark Funeral - Unveil Details About New Single

Black metallers Dark Funeral, now with new frontman Heljarmadr and bassist Natt, have revealed the details of their forthcoming new 7inch and digital single. On February 23rd, the Swedes will return with the release of their new single entitled "Nail Them To The Cross". Besides the title track, that has been released as a video some weeks ago, the single includes another brand new track called "Temple Of Ahriman". Both songs were recorded at Dugout Studios in Uppsala, Sweden and were mixed and mastered by Daniel Bergstrand. The cover artwork was created by Marcelo Vasco. System Of A Down - Considering Making A New Album

System Of A Down recently announced their Wake Up The Souls Tour starting on April 10th to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in which Ottoman Turks began arresting and executing some 1.5 million Armenians. Now frontman Serj Tankian says the band will consider making their first album in 10 years after the tour ends in April. Serj Tankian says System Of A Down have discussed recording a new album.
