Nightwish - Reveal New Album Title, Cover Art And More

Nightwish start their week by revealing all about their new album. Firstly, it will be called Endless Forms Most Beautiful. Their long-awaited new album comes out on March 27th (Europe), March 30th (UK) and March 31st (US) via Nuclear Blast Records. The detailed cover artwork was created by longtime collaborator Toxic Angel and the album features eleven new songs. Feast your eyes on the cover below.

Svartsot - New Album Details, New Song Online

Danish folk metallers Svartsot have announced their new album title and release dates. Their fourth album is being released in cooperation between Svartsot's newly established company, Of Wood And Iron Productions, and the Hungarian label Nail Records, the home to Dalriada. It drops on February 20th in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and three days later in the rest of Europe. A taster from Vældet can be heard in the form of the song "Kilden - I Marker og I Lunde" below.

Converge - Headlining European Deathwish Fest

The 2015 Deathwish Fest Europe has been announced! This is a select group of shows featuring Converge, Trap Them, Harm's Way, and Young And In The Way. These shows start at Temples Festival 2015 alongside a multitude of bands, then run for a week in select cities. Converge alone then heads to Forta Rock Festival in The Netherlands to play alongside Slipknot, Lamb Of God, Exodus, Clutch, Red Fang, and many more.

Sumac - Aaron Turner's New Band Streaming New Song

A few months ago, guitarist/vocalist Aaron Turner announced his new project Sumac with drummer Nick Yacyshyn (Baptists). They recorded their debut effort with help from bassist Brian Cook (Russian Circles). American thrashers Toxik have announced the departure of their drummer Jason Bittner. He just joined fellow Americans Flotsam & Jetsam. Bittner joins the veteran Arizona metallers as the replacement for Kelly Smith, who recently left the band to focus on family matters.

The official lyric video for "Shadowmaker", the title track of the upcoming album from Finnish cello masters Apocalyptica, has been unveiled and can now be seen below. The group's new album will be released in April 2015 via Eleven Seven Music Group in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and South East Asia. Scorpions - New Album Details Revealed

German hard rock veterans Scorpions had announced this year that they would release a new album and here it is. Titled Return To Forever, the record is to be released on February 20th, 2015. Furthermore, if you pre-order the album now on iTunes or the band's webstore, you'll receive the brand new single "We Built This House". The band recorded 19 songs altogether. Twelve of which are on the album, sixteen on the Deluxe Edition.

Leprous - In The Studio, New Album In 2015

The Norwegian progsters Leprous are back in the studio working on the follow-up album to 2013's acclaimed latest release Coal. Even though the new opus is still untitled, it is expected for a May 2015 release via InsideOutMusic. Good news all around! Defiled - Announce 2015 Asian Tour

Japanese death metallers Defiled will be descending upon South Asia this January for a string of shows across the Indian subcontinent. Starting on January 8th in Pokhara, Nepal, The Elite Of Steel Tour 2015 will include a series of headlining performances at festivals like Nepal Deathfest in Kathmandu, and the inaugural edition of Kolkata Deathfest.
