Cradle Of Filth - Sign Worldwide Deal With Nuclear Blast

After announcing that they would enter the studio this month, Cradle Of Filth have just signed a worldwide deal with Nuclear Blast Records after they've worked with the band for several years in the United States. They have just returned from their successful run through Russia and will hit the studio to begin recording the successor of 2012's The Manticore And Other Horrors later this month. You can expect the band's new album next year. Stay tuned for more updates on the new album progress.

Anathema - To Play At Roadburn With Duncan Patterson And Darren White

Anathema fans are in for a treat at Roadburn Festival 2015. Something very special will be happening next year as the band will play a special Resonance set at Roadburn and they will be joined by former members, bassist Duncan Patterson and vocalist Darren White. Wintersun - Co-Headlining 2015 Paganfest With Turisas

The Paganfest tour is heading out for the seventh time next year and the Finns Wintersun will be co-headlining the trek with Turisas. You can mark your calendars for March 2015. Wintersun will team up with their Finnish comrades Turisas to form the headlining-duo of the upcoming tour. Nightwish - Announce Shows In Finland With Special Guests

Nightwish just announced two big stadium shows in their home country of Finland for summer 2015. The band will perform at Joensuu and Tampere. The shows promise to be special as they will be joined by Children Of Bodom, Sonata Arctica and Insomnium (Joensuu only) for these shows.

Marilyn Manson - New Album Details Revealed

After recently sharing a new song, Marilyn Manson are now lifting the veil on their new album. In fact, the band just revealed today the album title, cover, tracklist and release date. The Pale Emperor, as the record is called, is coming out on January 20th, 2015. On the live front, Marilyn Manson will perform at the 30th anniversary of Rock am Ring and the 20th anniversary of Rock im Park in June of 2015. Before that, they are joining the Soundwave Festival 2015 bill.

Black Tusk - Bassist Involved In Motorcycle Accident, Passes Away (Update)

UPDATE: Sadly, we have to report that Black Tusk's bassist Jonathan Athon has passed away. He didn't survive the motorcycle accident announced earlier. It was the band themselves that confirmed the news. This was very sudden and he was only 32. RIP.

The Faceless - Drop Off European Tour With Protest The Hero

After bassist Evan Brewer and drummer Alex Rudinger left The Faceless, Michael Keene said on the band's Facebook page that they fully intended to play on the European Protest The Hero tour with The Contortionist. Well, it seems like that didn't go according to plan because mere days from the beginning of the tour, Protest The Hero, who are the headliners, confirm that The Faceless have had to drop off the tour. In fact, The Safety Fire are taking their place on these shows.

Old Man Gloom - Recorded Fake Album, Two New Albums

It seems like Old Man Gloom trolled us all. It turns out The Ape Of God is two different albums. Confused? The Ape Of God is actually two new albums with the same album title but each a different album with their own tracklist. They are to be treated as two separate albums. Both albums are their own entities. The confusing part is that they recorded a fake version of the album for the press. Well, that's commitment! If you have the promotional version, you might end up with three different albums in the end. This should bring some publicity to the record.

Desolate Shrine - New Album On The Way

The Finnish death metal underground act Desolate Shrine has recently confirmed that they will release a new album called The Heart Of The Netherworld on January 13th, 2015. Ministry - Announce Tour Dates For 2015

2015 is shaping up to be a busy time for Ministry, as the band just announced a string of tour dates. The industrial metallers didn't tour in support of the band's supposedly final album From Beer To Eternity, but now the band is announcing some shows for next year in North America and Australia. And "Al" Jourgensen promises that more dates will be announced.

Within Temptation - Release Clip From Upcoming DVD

Recently, the Dutch symphonic group Within Temptation announced their new DVD/Blu-ray/2CD, Let Us Burn - Elements & Hydra Live In Concert, set for release on November 14th. The band is now lifting the veil a little bit more and shares the "Covered By Roses" performance clip, which was recorded live at the Heineken Music Hall in May 2014. The video showcases a mix of both shows: their 2012, 15th birthday Elements concert and the final night of the Hydra European arena tour at Amsterdam's Heineken Music Hall in May 2014.
