Saint Vitus - Wino Releases Statement About Arrest And Deportation

Saint Vitus frontman Wino has finally spoken out after he was detained in Norway, allegedly for possession of methamphetamine, and deported to the United States. He explains what happened in Norway and acknowledges he has developed a dependency and is seeking treatment for it. The band, however, had to finish their European tour without him.

Orden Ogan - New Album Set For Release In January

It seems like Orden Ogan are also releasing a new album next year. So, that means the power metallers finally completed the successor to 2012's To The End. As for the new opus, Ravenhead will be released on January 16th, 2015 through AFM Records and the cover artwork was painted by Andreas Marschall. Take a look at it below. Triptykon - Release Video For 'Tree Of Suffocating Souls'

Swiss extreme metallers Triptykon have a new video for you to enjoy. They debuted a new visualization of a song off their acclaimed second album Melana Chasmata, the abrasive album opener "Tree Of Suffocating Souls". Periphery - Reveal Artwork And Tracklist For 'Juggernaut'

Slowly, we begin to know more about Periphery's upcoming albums. The progressive/djent group has revealed the album cover artwork and tracklist for Juggernaut: Alpha and Juggernaut: Omega! Both will be available in January 2015. Jørn Lande - Releasing Concept Album With Trond Holter

Frontiers Music Srl will release a new concept album written and performed by two Norwegian musicians, singer Jørn Lande and guitarist Trond Holter (Jorn), titled Dracula: Swing Of Death, on January 23rd in Europe and January 27th in North America. This epic album took close to 4 years to complete. It's not the typical rock opera with a storyteller and long instrumental parts, but more of a dark and melodic rock album with a demonic and beautiful love story inspired by Bram Stoker's Dracula, reflecting the inner shadows of the man and myth. Saxon - To Enter The Studio

British heavy metal veterans Saxon will enter the studio in early 2015 to begin recording the follow-up to 2013's Sacrifice for a late summer release. In a recent interview, singer Biff Byford announced that the new album is planned to be released around August or September next year.

Thrashless - Unveil New Album Artwork And Tracklist

Estonian thrash metallers Thrashless have recently revealed the album artwork and tracklist for their upcoming third album, which will be entitled Cult Of Fear. The album will be available as a CD and also on vinyl and will be released early next year. Arch Enemy - Announce Jeff Loomis As New Guitarist

Sorry for the double Arch Enemy news today but the band just announced that guitar virtuoso Jeff Loomis (ex-Nevermore) will be joining their ranks for their upcoming European tour which kicks off on November 26th, as well as all future tours in 2015. They are a new melodic metal supergroup that features some long-standing veterans in the scene, such as guitarist Roland Grapow (Masterplan, ex-Helloween) and drummer Thomen Stauch (Savage Circus, ex-Blind Guardian). Malice - Guitarist Mick Zane Diagnosed With Brain Tumor

According to Michael Fischer of KNAC.com, Mick Zane, lead guitarist and founding member of the 1980s heavy metal band Malice, will reportedly undergo brain surgery today after he was diagnosed with a small brain tumor. Mick Zane, who has yet to find out if his tumor is malignant or not, has been in the studio writing and recording material for his first ever solo album. The project, which was set to feature some guest players on various tracks, has been put on hold.
