Miss May I - Band Issues Statement After Fan Death

US metalcore outfit Miss May I has released a statement after a fan died at their show at the Studio at Webster Hall in New York. Early reports suggested that the 21-year-old Alberto Scott died after the crowd failed to catch him when he dove and suffered a serious blow to the head. However, Webster Hall told Brooklyn Vegan that despite what people are saying, "the patron in question did not die while stage diving. The patron collapsed while exiting the venue, as video footage and the police corroborate."

Judicator - Start Campaign To Fund New Album

US power metal act Judicator, after releasing their latest EP Coping Mechanism, are getting ready to release their third full-length, At The Expense Of Humanity. Darkspace - Hint At New Album

A new Darkspace album might be on the horizon, if their latest update is anything to go by. Their label Avantgarde Music has also shared the update released on the black metallers website. It includes a short ambient sample and an encrypted message in Morse code. If you decipher the message, it reads "Dark Space IIII" and a date, "September 2014."

Overkill - To Tour Europe With Enforcer And Prong

With the release of their new album, White Devil Armory, scheduled for this summer, New Jersey thrash metal veterans Overkill now announce a headlining European tour for October and November, 2014. The band will hit the road in support of their upcoming output, which will be out on July 18th, 2014 via Nuclear Blast. Joining them on the road will be L.A.- based industrials Prong, Swedish speed thrashers and labelmates Enforcer, and Greek heavy metal outfit Darkology.

Queensrÿche - Start Working On New Album

Now that a settlement has been reached with Geoff Tate over the ownership of the Queensrÿche name and brand, the band has already begun writing new material for the follow-up to their 2013 album Queensrÿche. The new album is tentatively scheduled for release in early summer 2015. Besides that, the band also disclosed more details about the settlement.

Hades Almighty - Working On New Album

Although Hades Almighty's record outputs have been virtually dormant since 2004 when Dark Essence Record re-released their 2001 classic The Pulse Of Decay, things are definitely starting to stir in the band's recording front.
