Arkona - Splits With Drummer Vlad Sokolov

Russian folk outfit Arkona has parted ways with longtime drummer Vlad Sokolov. This is unusual for the band as it is their first line-up change in the last 10 years. For now, the band still hasn't announced a replacement but they say they are ready to move on and continue their journey.

Dirge - New Album Artwork And More Revealed

Sludge mongers Dirge started recording the follow-up to Elysian Magnetic Fields last year. Today you get to know more about this new album. Tesseract - Announce Tour With Intronaut, Cloudkicker

More notably, this tour will mark the first-ever live tour for Cloudkicker. Gojira - Releasing Photo Book/Live CD/DVD, Clip Online

Gojira are releasing Les Enfants Sauvages on March 11th. And what is Les Enfants Sauvages you might ask? Actually, it is a limited edition 5" x 7", 60-page hardcover photo book chronicling the band's journey around the world over the last two years, since the release of their critically acclaimed Roadrunner debut L'Enfant Sauvage. The package also includes a live CD and DVD capturing last year's performance at the Brixton Academy in London. Having previously introduced his solo album The Life And Times Of Scrooge, Nightwish composer and keyboard player Tuomas Holopainen has now unveiled more about his first solo album due out on the 11th of April, 2014 via Nuclear Blast. The single "A Lifetime Of Adventure" will be released worldwide on February 7th and is available for pre-order via the Nightwish Shop (exclusive signed version). The cover artwork on both the single and the album is by Don Rosa, the illustrator of Disney's Duck characters.
