Pantheist - New Label, New Album In 2015

UK funeral doomsters Pantheïst have announced that they signed a deal with German based label Eternal Sound Records for the release of their next album, which is dropping in 2015. Finally, the follow-up to the self-titled 2011 album seems somewhat closer.

Machine Head - Being Sued By Former Bassist Adam Duce

Things could get messy for Machine Head. As it turns out, Adam Duce's exit from the band wasn't that amicable after all. According to Courthouse News, the former bassist has filed a lawsuit against the band and their manager in Federal Court. He seeks damages for trademark infringement, breach of partnership agreement and defamation, among other things. Ouch!

Insomnium - New Album This Spring, Live Video Online

This past December, Finnish melodic death metal band Insomnium spent the holiday season in the studio recording their 6th full-length album. In order to achieve the best production in the band's history, Insomnium decided to record drums at SF Sound (with Kimmo Perkkiö), located in the group's former hometown (Joensuu), while recording the remaining instruments at studio Korkeakoski (Kotka) with Teemu Aalto. André Alvinzi (Fascination Street Studios) will now mix the album so that it will see a spring 2014 release.

Black Label Society - New Album Detailed

Black Label Society will soon unleash their new album Catacombs Of The Black Vatican. The output will be released in Europe on April 7th via Mascot Label Group and one day later in North America through eOne Music. As of now, the album is available for pre-order on iTunes, and if you grab it, you will get the new track "My Dying Time" instantly. Catacombs Of The Black Vatican is the first all new album from Black Label Society since Order Of The Black.

Ministry - Al Jourgensen Going To Rehab

Industrial metallers Ministry have confirmed that Al Jourgensen will check into a rehabilitation facility on February 3rd for alcohol addiction. The frontman has battled addictions to drugs, and now the goal is to have a sober life. He admitted he "needs help" beating his addiction to alcohol. The band's supposed final album From Beer To Eternity was released last year.

Edenbridge - Two Members Launch Acoustic Project

Voiciano is the new acoustic project of the Edenbridge singer Sabine Edelsbacher and Lanvall (grand piano, acoustic guitars and other string instruments, percussion). Voiciano is based on acoustic instruments exclusively, mainly the grand piano. However many other instruments like acoustic guitars, hammered dulcimer, kacapi, bouzouki, mandolin, saz and diverse percussion instruments are appearing. Sabine and Lanvall were also able to get some great guests for the album. Most of them are longtime friends. The album Everflow will be released over their own label in Spring 2014.

Lifelover - 'Sjukdom' Album To Be Reissued

Prophecy Productions has just announced that Lifelover's Sjukdom album will be re-released on vinyl on February 21st. The fourth and last album of the now defunct band followed Konkurs from 2008. Sjukdom (English: disease) is "where the extremes of the characteristically idiosyncratic Lifelover sound are pushed to their utmost limit." After the tragic death of B in September 2011, this is Lifelover's final studio album.
