Thuringian metallers Menhir have posted an image on their Facebook page about their upcoming new album to be titled Varus confirming that it will released in the autumn of 2013 in collaboration with their label Trollzorn. For now, any other additional details about an official tracklist or cover are yet to be revealed. Nevertheless, this is good news as the band's last album Hildebrandslied was released back in 2007.

German power metal legends Helloween have been officially confirmed to be a headliner at Kukar Rockin' Fest 2013 to be held at Lap. Panahan Aji Imbut, Tenggarong, East Borneo, in Indonesia on Sunday, June 16th, 2013. Kukar Rockin' Fest is the biggest Open Air Metal Festival "out of" Java Island. For Helloween, this will be their first concert out of Java Island in Indonesia.

The album, which is available now for pre-order, will be released by Prosthetic Records in North America digitally on April 23rd, with physical releases on CD and gatefold LP to follow soon after.
