Embraze - Reunited, Announce Live Shows

Finish gothic metallers Embraze split up back in 2009. Now, after 10 years, the band reunites and also announced a couple of live shows. The band will also perform at well-known Nummirock Metal Festival in June. For now, Embraze have no plans to work on new music.

Michael Schenker Fest - Announce New Drummer

Legendary German guitarist Michael Schenker's Michael Schenker Fest project has recruited drummers Simon Phillips and Bodo Schopf, following the recent passing of Ted McKenna. Simon, who played on the debut Michael Schenker Fest album, will return as the permanent drummer on the upcoming second LP. Due to his schedule, he is unable to perform on the upcoming U.S. tour. This role will be completed by Bodo Schopf.

Esoteric - Set To Enter Studio In April

UK extreme doomsters Esoteric are set to begin recording their seventh full-length album on the 11th April at vocalist/guitarist Greg Chandler's Priory Recording Studios in Birmingham. The as yet unnamed album will be the long-awaited follow-up to 2011's Paragon Of Dissonance and is expected to be released on Season Of Mist sometime during 2019. Esoteric are anticipating completing the album in May. Stay tuned for more.

Shining - Announce 2019 European Tour Dates

Sweden's Shining is set to hit the road for a 23-date European tour during May and June, 2019. Accompanying them on what will be called the 'Return Of The Enemy' tour, will be Slovenian black metallers Srd, with no other bands or local supports being included on the tour. Shining are preparing a longer set than usual and promise an event full of uncompromising darkness and perversion.

Sinmara - Premiere Second New Single

Mastodon - Announce US Tour With Coheed And Cambria

Mastodon and Coheed And Cambria will team up for a co-headlining 'The Unheavenly Skye Tour' this spring/summer. The trek across the States will hit 26 cities and will feature Mastodon performing their 2009 masterpiece, Crack The Skye, in its entirety. Every Time I Die will perform as the opening act on this tour.

Exumer - Reveal Details For New Album, Track Streaming

On April 5th, legendary multinational thrash metallers Exumer will release their fifth full-length, Hostile Defiance, via Metal Blade Records. The album was produced by Dennis Koehne (Sodom, Melechesh) and tracked in studios in Dortmund and Frankfurt.
