Visions Of Atlantis - Debut New Video

Visions Of Atlantis have just released a new EP, titled Old Routes - New Waters. The symphonic metal chargers re-recorded five fan-favorites songs with the new lineup featuring Clémentine Delauney and Siegfried Samer on vocals. One of them is "Winternight" from the Cast Away album. You can hear this new version of the track on the video below, directed by Patrick Ullaeus.

Omen - To Release New Album

Omen's return with a new record is finally happening this year. While their latest album, Eternal Black Dawn, came out over 10 years ago, this May you can expect a new dose of heavy metal from the group. Hammer Damage will be released on CD in May 27th, 2016 via Pure Steel Records and DSN Music digitally. The first edition comes with a special colored grey tray.

Frailty - Announce Show, Begin Recording New Album

There hasn't been many updates from the Latvian doomsters Frailty camp lately. The band has been quiet in the live front because they just started to record a new album. Drummer Lauris Polinskis has started recording drums for ten new songs. Moreover, the band will play in the festival celebrating the 10th anniversary of legendary Latvian underground and heavy music venue Melnā Piektdiena.

Sunn O))) are releasing a new live album! The drone bringers will unleash a brand new triple-LP live album, captured on the band's first ever performance in Moscow last year, titled НЕЖИТЬ: живьём в России 11 августа 2015 (translated, NOLIFE: Alive In Moscow 11 August 2015). It drops via Southern Lord Recordings on May 29th in a limited pressing on three slabs of 12" vinyl housed in a Stoughton gatefold jacket with a digital download code included.

Sabaton - Releasing New Album In August, Cover Unveiled

Swedish power metal heroes Sabaton are currently working on their new studio album, entitled The Last Stand, which is going to be released worldwide on August 19th through Nuclear Blast. The big announcement was made today and the band is working again with Peter Tägtgren on this brand new chapter in Sabaton history. The artwork on the album, available below, was made by Peter Sallaí who has been with the band since Carolus Rex.

Pain Of Salvation are scheduled to re-release their 2002 classic album Remedy Lane, together with a live recording of their performance of the album from ProgPower USA 2014. Remedy Lane Re:visited (Re:mixed & Re:lived) will be released on July 1st, 2016 via InsideOutMusic. As for news on their new studio album, it will be entitled In The Passing Light Of Day and is expected to be released later in the year.

Led Zeppelin - Can Settle Stairway Lawsuit For $1 And Writing Credit

Two years ago, Led Zeppelin faced a copyright infringement claim by a lawyer for the defunct 1960s group Spirit arguing that the opening notes of their iconic song "Stairway To Heaven" sound a lot like "Taurus", an instrumental piece by the late Spirit guitarist Randy California, released on his band's debut album in 1968. Well, now the lawyers suing Led Zeppelin over claims that the opening to "Stairway To Heaven" was stolen say their client is willing to settle for the sum of $1 but there's a catch.

Scorpions - Recruit Mikkey Dee To Fill In On U.S. Dates

After Motörhead's iconic frontman Lemmy died and the band dissolved, Swedish drummer Mikkey Dee had to search for other gigs and was supposed to perform with Thin Lizzy on their anniversary shows. However, he will join German iconic rockers Scorpions instead as they have hired him for their U.S. tour dates. He will replace the band's drummer James Kottak, who is currently on break while he seeks medical attention.
