Doom gothic metal band Diathra just presented their new video. It is for a song called "Forgive Me", taken from their forthcoming new album. The new output will be called Fascinating Impulses and is coming out soon on Stygian Crypt Productions. Until then, you can always listen to the new tune "Forgive Me" on the clip available below. British melodic death metal act Engraved Disillusion announce the release of their sophmore album, to be entitled The Eternal Rest. Artwork for The Eternal Rest will be created by Colin Marks at Rainsong Design (Nevermore, Scar Symmetry, Sylosis). The follow up to 2011's Embers Of Existence debut is due for release in late 2014. The band also unveiled a complete tracklist of the album, and can be seen below.
We already knew that death metallers Morgothwere working on a new album. Now we know that they will release a new 7" EP and digital single this August 11th already entitled "God Is Evil" which features two brand new tracks. See the cover art here. Swiss noisemongers Kruger are about to release their brand new, fifth studio album. The quintet is announcing Adam And Steve album, to be released on October 13th on Listenable Records (vinyl version via Pelagic Records). Produced by the band and mixed by Magnus Lindberg (Cult Of Luna), Adam And Steve is carrying on with the band's tasty mix of Entombed, Converge, Breach and Tool, which set them as one of Europe's most reliable post-metal acts. US heavy metallers Slough Feg have some unpleasent news to share. The band has confirmed that their drummer Harry Cantwell will be leaving the band after the July 28th show at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, CA. Harry has been part of Slough Feg for the last seven years and has contributed his share to the band's last four full-length releases.
Danish heavy metal veterans King Diamond announced that bass player Hal Patino is no longer part of the group. As it was officially stated, Hal has been fired from the band for the second time (the first time was in 1990). He was part of the group between 1987 and 1990, and again from 2000 till recently. Swedes HammerFall are pleased to announce a string of European tour dates in early 2015 in support of the band's upcoming new album (r)Evolution, to be out on August 27th in Sweden, August 29th in Europe, September 1st in the UK and September 2nd in the US. Supporting them on the road will be German power metal act Orden Ogan (currently working on a new release) and new super group Serious Black (feat. Kyrgyzstan's pagan black metal act Darkestrah announced that their long-time vocalist Kreigtalith has left the group after 15 years. Being in the band since the very beginning, Kreigtalith participated on all five full length albums. In the meantime, Darkestrah already found the replacement. The new vocalist of the band is Merkith.
Chicago-based melodic death metallers Starkill have announced the release for their sophomore album, entitled Virus Of The Mind. The release is scheduled for the following dates: October 14th in North America, and October 20th, 2014 in Europe, Australia/New Zealand. Once again the band collaborated with engineer and producer Chuck Macak. Virus Of The Mind will contain 10 new tracks, which will be unveiled in the near future. However, the cover artwork is already available for your eyes and can be seen below.
