With the release of the Nail Them To The Cross single earlier this year, Swedish black metal masters, Dark Funeral, are now preparing the release of their next studio album. And it will happen in 2016 at last. Angelus Exuro Pro Eternus, their previous album, was released in the distant year of 2009. Last year, they introduced new vocalist Heljarmadr and bassist Natt. The black metallers will enter the studio early next year and record the new material.
Gorguts have announced a new European tour and the bill is impressive. The tech metallers will embark on a trek starting on March 23rd 2016 at the Inferno Festival with Psycroptic, Dysrhythmia and Nero Di Marte accompanying them until April 17th in 2016. Yes, Pomegranate Tiger is releasing a new album! The Canadian prog/djent outfit saw their last album Entities make it to the Metal Storm Awards 2013 on the Best Djent / Math Metal category and this December they will release Boundless. Their second album drops on December 11th and the first song available is called "Cyclic". It's from their forthcoming album and Martin Andres recorded a playthrough video for it.
The follow-up to The Underground Resistance is coming! The Norwegians Darkthrone are working on their new album. In fact, according to Fenriz, the duo is half way finished on the record and Nocturno Culto will sing on the entire album which is more on the "heavy/black metal" side.
On November 10th, Bethesda Softworks released their new game Fallout 4, the fourth major installment in the Fallout series, and the Swedish band Katatonia makes another Easter egg appearance in one of their games! Furthermore, Katatonia have recently confirmed that they finished the drum work for the new album which is expected in 2016. They are searching for a new guitar player as session live guitarist Tomas Åkvik will leave after the 70000 Tons of Metal cruise in January.

Even though they released a new album this year, In The Absence Of Light, the focus is already on new song ideas. Savannah's Black Tusk have faced an immense and unexpected tragedy in late 2014 when founding bassist/vocalist Jonathan Athon passed away after a motorcycle accident in his hometown. Now, as a testament to his lasting legacy on the heavy music scene, the band is releasing Pillars Of Ash, their final recordings with Athon, on January 29th, 2016 via Relapse Records. The new Norwegian black metal band Nordjevel has announced that bassist Svein-Ivar Sarassen, aka DezeptiCunt, will join them as a permanent bassist. He is know as the bassist of Ragnarok and Quadrivium. Nordjevel recently announced their debut album, Nordjevel which is being released next year.
American hardcore outfit Vision Of Disorder are about to release their new album worldwide, on November 27th via Candlelight Records. It's called Razed To The Ground, it was produced by Zeuss (Hatebreed, Demon Hunter, Rob Zombie), and is the band's second recording for Candlelight Records. Enjoy the entire piece via Bandcamp.
