Ghost Ship Octavius - Release Lyric Video For New Song

If you did catch these previous news articles, you are somewhat familiar with this new project Ghost Ship Octavius. Initially, the band featured ex-Arch Enemy guitarist Christopher Amott, who later left to focus on other things. It still features God Forbid's guitarist Matt Wicklund, ex-Nevermore drummer Van Williams, bassist Sara Claudius, and vocalist Adōn Fanion. The band describes their sound as "melodic progressive heavy metal" and you can hear their pre-production version of the song "Alive" below, and see how you like it.

Ghost Brigade - Recording New Album, Release This Year

Finally an update on the new Ghost Brigade album. You will probably be happy to hear that the album is indeed coming out in 2014 via the band's label Season Of Mist. The Finns are currently recording the new material at the Electric Fox studio in Vaajakoski, Finland with sound engineer Tuomas Kokko. Furthermore, their forthcoming studio album, with its title yet to be unveiled, will be made of 10 songs and will hit the stores later this year.

Nightwish - Clip Of 'Ghost Love Score' From New DVD

Ghost B.C. - Stream Song From Upcoming EP

The Swedes Ghost B.C. are preparing the release of a covers EP called If You Have Ghost, which was produced by Dave Grohl, and will be available worldwide and in stores on November 19th, 2013 via Loma Vista Recordings. Ghost B.C. - Band-Themed Burger Causes Controversy

The burger of controversy... Swedish metallers Ghost B.C. have caused a bit of an uproar this time not with their music, videos or album covers but with a hamburger featured at a Chicago-based burger joint which names all of its specialty burgers after metal bands. The burger is considered sacrilegious.

Guitarist Christopher Amott, who had announced a new project called Ghost Ship Octavius with ex-God Forbid guitarist Matt Wicklund and ex-Nevermore drummer Van Williams, has decided to step away from it and focus solely on a new Armageddon album which haven't released an album since 2002.

Today the band has released a little preview of what is to come. Iron Maiden - Latin American Dates, Slayer And Ghost Supporting

British heavy metal legends Iron Maiden's year keeps getting fuller and fuller. Now they have announced their return to Argentina this summer to make their first-ever appearance at the legendary River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires on September 27th. They will also be making a first-ever visit to Paraguay on September 29th to play the Jockey Club in Asuncion. On October 2nd, they will return to headline the Estadio Nacional in Santiago, Chile, where the Blu-ray/DVD En Vivo was filmed in 2011.

Ghost B.C. - Album Release Delayed Due To Blasphemous Art

Swedish occult rockers Ghost B.C. face yet another controversy. The band had to change their name from Ghost to Ghost B.C. for legal reasons and now one piece of the Infestissumam deluxe version artwork was reportedly deemed too sacrilegious by some US manufacturers which have refused to print it thus delaying its release in North America. However, the original artwork can still be found on both the vinyl and European copies of the album. It seems like this will generate even more buzz around the release of the opus.
