German thrash metal veterans Tankard have just revealed the album artwork and tracklist for their upcoming new album, entitled R.I.B.. The artwork was brought to life by Patrick Strogulski, who is a student of Sebastian Krüger, the former Tankard cover artist. The tracklist, 10 brand new songs, can be seen below the artwork. The album recording was once again done with producer Michael Mainx, who also produced the band's last two albums.
Sludge doomsters Ortega are back with some fresh new stuff to offer. Here it is, "Crows", a brand new track that appears on the band's same-titled demo, which will be released as a very limited cassette by Tartarus Records on April 10th, coinciding with their show at Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, The Netherlands. Crows will be a part of yet unnamed album, to be released later this year by Black Bow Records on vinyl and Tartarus Records on cassette. Metal Blade will serve as the label home for the band worldwide, in addition to the band's label partner in North America. Nonpoint's eighth full-length album is scheduled for release this fall.
Colombian black metal duo Inquisition will be during this summer festival season performing also in a couple of clubs in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
