Sabaton - To Release DVD/CD Package

After releasing their first ever DVD in 2013, Swedish Empire Live, Sabaton are coming back for more! They released the album Heroes in 2014 and their enthusiastic fans reveled them in many sold-out venues all over the world during their following tour, which is still under way. Their concerts in Wacken and at their hometown festival in Falun were big highlights of the Heroes tour so far. Therefore the band decided to record these shows for an upcoming live DVD/CD package called Heroes On Tour.

Ragnarok - Complete New Album, DezeptiCunt Leaving

Norway's Ragnarok have completed work on their eighth full-length album, which is set to be released in early 2016 on Agonia Records. Recorded, mixed and mastered at the Endarker Studio in Sweden by Marduk's Devo, the album will be titled Psychopathology and follow Malediction (2012). In other news, bassist DezeptiCunt is leaving the band to focus on other projects (Nordjevel).

After the departure of guitarist Jason R. Richardson, who was replaced by Stephen Rutishauser, Chelsea Grin have released a new single. Available now on iTunes, "Skin Deep" is available for your listening pleasure (or otherwise) on the YouTube video below. It is Chelsea Grin's first new material since they released Ashes To Ashes (2014).

Lacuna Coil - Reveal New Album Title, Coming In 2016

After a few months of hard work, Lacuna Coil have announced the first details regarding their new album. To follow Broken Crown Halo, the Italian group will release Delirium next year on their label Century Media Records. More details are currently under wraps but fans can start anticipating the new release. Judging by some pictures posted on their Facebook page, Lacuna Coil have been recording the album since November.

Hypno5e - Releasing New Album, Trailer Unveiled

It looks like French experimental metallers Hypno5e are finally releasing a new album! To follow Acid Mist Tomorrow, they came up with Shores Of The Abstract Line and the first details are out in the open. Ex Deo - Enlist Carach Angren's Ardek For New Album

After they announced their comeback and that they were working on their new album, Ex Deo have more news to share now. The symphonic death metallers will be working with Carach Angren's Clemens "Ardek" Wijers on their upcoming release. He will be conducting the Epic Roman Orchestra. Ex Deo will start recording the follow up to Caligvla during the spring of next year going through the summer. Expect an early 2017 release on Napalm Records.

Grammy Awards - Best Metal Performance Nominations

The nominations for the 58th annual Grammy Awards were announced today. For the Best Metal Performance category you have five nominees. Those include Swedes Ghost, August Burns Red, Lamb Of God, Sevendust and Slipknot. Slipknot are nominated for the second year in a row for the same record, .5: The Gray Chapter albeit for a different song. At least they didn't nominate a cover this year, right?
