Darkest Era - New Label, New Album In June

Cruz Del Sur Music has announced a deal with former Metal Blade artists, folk metallers Darkest Era for the release of their new album Severance. Finally, the successor to The Last Caress Of Light (2011) is set to see the light of day. In fact, you can expect the new album on June 13th in Europe and June 3rd in the US in CD, vinyl and digital formats.

Pilgrim - Announce New Album, New Song Online

Since the early 2012 unveiling of their debut, Misery Wizard, fans have awaited the second chapter from Rhode Island doom bringers Pilgrim. Recently, it has been revealed that it will be called II: Void Worship and the new album was recorded at Moonlight Mile Recording by audio architect Mike Moebius. Green Carnation - To Reunite, Announce Special Show

If you love Green Carnation, you will love this. The Norwegian progressive metal legends will reunite in the summer of 2014. It was announced that the band is going to do their second concept show A Night Under The Dam deep into the mountains in South Norway on July 31st. The show will include both acoustic and plugged parts and showcase songs from all of their five albums. Who knows if this is the beginning of a comeback with maybe a new album. One can dream...

Cradle Of Filth - 'Total Fucking Darkness' Demo To Be Reissued

After more than 20 years, Total Fucking Darkness, the infamous demo from the U.K. group Cradle Of Filth, will be officially released in vinyl format. Housed in a heavy gatefold sleeve with paintings from Radio One presenter and occult artist, Daniel P Carter, the release will include some tracks previously unreleased by the band.

Bloodbath - New Album Update

The Swedish death metallers Bloodbath have just issued an album update. Last year, the group said they would record their new album this year and so it is. The drums will be recorded next month and the band has 10 new songs. While they are not saying much more about it, at least you know it is moving along. Also, the "secret" new vocalist is yet to be announced but the band did give some clues about him today.
