Extravagant shock rockers Gwar have updated their North American tour schedule. The tour will now last for more than two months, stopping in more than 50 cities. All tour dates below.

In other news, the long awaited DVD Lust in Space: Live at the National has been released. Lust in Space: Live at the National contains the awesome 82 minute set that was in the Lust in Space album concept plus the hilarious 10 minute mocumentary "Behind the Murder" plus a special features section containing interview extras, a behind the scenes look at special F/X being shot and a slideshow featuring band shots from the album cover.

Honestly, seeing gwar live was some of the most fun i've ever had at a metal show. And I don't even like ONE of their songs. If they come near you, do yourself a favor and go see them with some friends. If you don't have fun then well, you probably don't know how to have fun. Oh yea, bring a towel.

Totally agree. One of the funnest shows ive been to, and i NEVER listen to them on record. There Music is good live and the antics are beyond extraordinary. GO SEE THEM.

whatever. they've been playing metal for longer than you've been alive - and while Lordi might have been a creation for European Idle or whatever the fuck, GWAR have always existed to piss people off and offend sensibilities.

while their albums might be average with only a couple decent tracks, their live shows are the thing of legend. i'm looking forward to catching them. i'll be sure to have Oderus launch a cumshot in the general direction of Bulgaria for you.
