US ambient noise outfit Horseback have finished recording their new full-length album, which will be entitled Half Blood. The album was described by mainman Jenks Miller as "the band's most ambitious record to date that represents a synthesis of the approaches we've explored in the past." Half Blood was self-recorded and produced by Jenks Miller at The Chateau. Additional tracking was done at Arbor Ridge Studios and Track and Field Recording by Nick Petersen.

The album will be released in the spring via Relapse Records and features cover artwork from renowned Russian surrealist painter Denis Forkas Kostromitin. More details on the album will be revealed soon.
