23:01 - tibosax Sounds good 3rd, but I don't know if I can stand 10 10 minutes songs of tha monotonous style
22:52 - Doge of Venice Exactly. :P As an old fan of theirs, it's definitely more energised and interesting than anything they've done for a decade.
22:51 - 3rdWorld v Clickbait Avenged Sevenfold shite.
22:48 - Doge of Venice Don't mean to be that dude, but the new best kvlt album of the year leaked - [link] Just joking. Few songs in, so far quite interesting. Vocals will still be love/hate
22:42 - Maratha When're there's talk of Korn during Halloween, I remember Korn's Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery from South Park.
22:36 - 3rdWorld Best atmospheric black I've heard all year. No bullshit samples or nature recordings, just a desolate and bleak guitar playing to get the ambience going. Swiss perfection. [link]
21:48 - 3rdWorld Was just playing the devil's advocate. I love them myself but just the first 3 albums for that matter. Haven't heard the new one in full yet but that one single really sounded well like the old primitive bassy Korn.
Heavy metallers Manilla Road announced today that in honor of the 30th anniversary of their album Crystal Logic, they will be re-releasing the album with some new, bonus tracks as well as "a big booklet with unseen photos, flyers and other memorabilia". The album will be released by Golden Core/ZYX and the bonus tracks are to be revealed shortly.
except their latest album which is weak but seems to get praise all over the place
Agreed. They've definitely lost the edge but much of their back catalogue certainly deserves a bit more notice.
incredible that this band has been releasing albums for 33 years now, releasing 16 full-lengths in the process and the only scenes that seem togive this band the attention they deserve ar just the underground doom scene and some of the so-called true metallers, but that's it. Even within power metal Manilla Road doesn't get its dues whereas they are superior to most bands there.
