Some days ago, Devin Townsend announced that he was going to launch a crowdfunding campaign for his album Casualities Of Cool. The day has come: the campaign has begun, and you can pledge in exchange of various bundles here. All pledges include a free download of the album upon the May 14th release date and everyone who pledges will receive regular updates from Devin and Ché Dorval plus exclusive downloads. Once the target is reached, all other proceedings will go straight into the Z2 project, which is due to start soon.

By pledging, you can also get the free download of the track "Forgive Me" here, which you can listen to in the pledgemusic artist's page. Just click play. The track is six minutes long.

Good stuff but nothing special imo.

Wow, in 5 hours it already reached the target and went over it by 44%. Guess this guy is fucking popular.

Not into country, but this sounds actually quite nice. Like a country version of "Ghost". But I am still more excited about "Z2"

Not very, no.

211%, lol, I wonder if he'll do another album or just keep the money for him (and the band), and then, in two years, ask for some money to do another album.

Edit: So, it seems that I can't read sorry for not paying atention

Wasn't a fan of Devin, but of Strapping Young Lad I was a fan.

Snagged a "I'll name your pet". Been looking forward to CoC since I was hugely disappointed by Epicloud.

So now he has money for Casualties and Ziltoid 2 because the response has been so immense. Typical Devin.

The new song has a good vibe though, kinda like it.

Devin hits more than 200% in less than 12 hours. Awesome.
