19:37 - Jericho Rehling they played with Mastodon and Ghost so it was still a good night. its hard to listen to soft music standing up though so I lost interest.
19:26 - Zaphod Yikes, glad I never saw them around that time. Last time they had a good balance between old and new.
19:24 - Jericho Rehling I saw Opeth about a year after Heritage came out. they played two songs with harsh vocals in two hours
19:19 - Zaphod Yeah, last I saw them he joked about the new vs old as well. Shows he's at least aware of the fan reaction to recent releases.
19:17 - !J.O.O.E.! Mikael would probably make a joke about it before playing it so I guess that would ease the audience a bit. I recall he did the same years ago before playing something off Watershed.
19:15 - Zaphod Yeah, seems to be the way to go. I guess most people would stay though.
19:13 - !J.O.O.E.! I'd love to see the audience reaction to that. I'm guessing they'll play a few songs from those but space them out.
Sadly, blackened post-hardcore outfit Castevet have officially broken up, after 8 years of existence. The New York City based band released two full-length studio albums: Mounds Of Ash (2010) and Obsian (2013).
Here is the official statement: "Castevet is no more. There is no single reason or event driving this decision; it is based on the need of each individual involved to continue to develop their vision within new and existing projects. To put it simply, it is time to move on. Thank you to all who have supported Castevet since our inception in 2006."
At the farewell, you can listen to their latest effort through the player here.
