Evildead - Reuniting For New Music And Shows In 2017
Evildead, the cult late 80's/early 90's thrash metal band made up by members of Agent Steel and Abattoir, have announced that they are reuniting once again for some shows next year. They also have new music in the works.
The reunion was confirmed on Evildead's Facebook page in response to a fan who asked them if they were going to follow-up their off-reunion gig, which took place in L.A. last March in celebration of drummer Rob Alaniz's 50th birthday: "Yes. We are." And then the band told the same fan that there will be more Evildead shows next year.
When asked by another fan if it was true that Evildead were reuniting again, Evildead said "yes", and added that they are going to record new music this year, which will be their first since 1991's The Underworld. The band stated: "That's the plan. Recording this year, shows next year."
