In Vain - Share New Album Details And Single
A little more than ten years after their debut, In Vain return with their fourth album, Currents, on January 26th, 2018, via Indie Recordings. It was mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios and features guest drummer Baard Kolstad (Leprous, Borknagar). The cover artwork was created by Costin Chioreanu, who also directed the lyric video for the first single, "Seekers Of The Truth".
Johnar Håland comments: "On Currents you will find a variety of epic, long and complex songs, and on the other side of the spectrum; short, catchy and more immediate tracks. 'Seekers Of The Truth' falls in the latter category. Costin did a great job of visualizing the lyrical content and we are very pleased with his creative work."
In Vain will release Currents in two editions (Normal and Special) with different tracklists and the album is available for pre-order here:

There better not be any more of these "short, catchy and more immediate tracks", because this was an immeasurable disappointment. They are capable of so much more!

Interesting indeed. A catchy memorable track, want to play it more and more... should listen to the Album when comes out. Track is great, Album art is also Perfect and Fascination Street Studios does the best job I know! Oh plus we have the Baard as a guest! sounds promising! The only thing that was missing in this track was a mysterious thing that I can not describe it easily and that was in their previous tracks and I couldn't find it in this new one... I'm not sure.
