Canadian melodic death metal outfit Obtenebris broke up back in 2010. After almost 10 years, the band is now reformed. They have also confirmed that they are working on new studio album, with couple of new songs already written. Further informations to be expected soon.

Statement from the band: "Hello everyone, 10 years... 10 years ago, we released this album. 7 years of practicing, a demo, more than 30 concerts and a change of line-up, and we finally had a complete album. Unfortunately, 1 year later, we decided to end Obtenebris, due to several reasons, it felt like the right thing to do at the time.

"A short while ago, we decided to get back together, and have been slowly (but surely!) working on a new album. We have several songs written, and have not quite reached the finish line yet, but it is getting close and we can't wait to share the new songs with all of you. We also have a bandcamp if you are interested in buying the album and other stuff we have. Thank you all for your support over the years!"
