Recently reunited Bay Area thrashers Defiance have announced they are going to release a 2-CD set, called Checkmate: The Demo Collection, on November 27th via Vic Records. It contains all of the band's demos between 1986 and 1994. A pre-order is available right here.

In other news, Defiance revealed on Facebook that they have been writing their first album since 2009's The Prophecy and plan to enter the studio in early 2021 to begin recording it.
