After two-year long hiatus, German black metal collective Eïs have decided to start their engines once more. The four-piece is ready to perform live as well as start creating new music.

Comments the band: ''Eïs have been slumbering since April 2019, with only a few moments of wakefulness. When we said we would take a break of indefinite duration, we were honest to you. Time to be honest again.

"Shortly before this year's 'Barther Metal Open Air' and Prophecy Productions' 'Prophecy Fest', we woke up - and decided to stay awake. The world changed a lot during those two and a half years. A lot to explore, a lot to think about, a lot to understand. Maybe also a lot of inspiration to find for future lyrics and music. We will see.

"So, to put it in a nutshell: Eïs are back - open to play gigs (contact us if interested), open to deliver some new merch we did, open to tell you about who and what Eïs is in 2021. And - we know you'd ask anyway - also open to record new music. More about that when time has come. For the time being, you've to be patient. Do you think there's still a place for us here?"
