Riverside - Announce 'ID.Entity' Album, Premiere Single


True to their word from when they began tracking it, the next Riverside album will arrive in January 2023. It is titled ID.Entity and it will be released on the 23rd of January (preorders here). You can listen to "I'm Done With You", the first single off of it, below.

I agree here, although I don't mind that this song is safe. They created their sound and sticking to it, at least with this song. I also bet that if/when bands change their sound or style, some people will still complain. There's no pleasing either way.

Love the band - this single didn't do much for me. I know I'm in the minority on this one, but I actually much prefer their more straight-forward and melodic tracks. The newest Lunatic Soul was particularly great for me. Not a fan of the proggier stuff - hoping the rest of the album will be a bit more accessible.

I actually don't mind it either! Just expressed my thoughts on it. It's still a great single and one I've put on replay for quite a few times now.
