Hesperia, a one-man atmpshperic/pagan black metal project from Italy, have begun with the recording process of the eighth full length instalment with tentative title: Fra Li Monti Sibillini (Black Medieval Winter over the Sibylline Mounts). More info in due time.

Statement from Hesperus: "The recordings of the eight Hesperia's album have begun. The first 4 albums told about the pre-roman age through Virgil's Aeneid, the last 2 albums told about the Roman age, and now it's time to tell about the Italic Middle Ages. It will be narrated through the places where the band comes from: The Sibylline Mounts (near Macerata) withe their obscure legends about the cave of the sorceress Sibilla, necromancers, witches, knoghts, werewolves, eretic fryars, inquisition, and Cecco D'Ascoli burnt on the stake.

"The album takes place in the Middle Ages, during the winter, through the snow and frost of the Sibylline Mounts; it wil be sung in italian, ancient italian, latin, dialect of center Italy (maceratese dialect); the sound will be black metal with some medieval music inserts, ambient and picene folk music."
