Persefone - Announce Headline Euro Tour; Part Ways With Vocalist

The Andorra six-piece Persefone are thrilled to announce their first headline tour across Europe since 2018. On a month-long trek they will be joined by the amazing artistry of Hypno5e, the very first European appearance of Stellar Circuits and Spanish prog metal instrumentalists Lampr3a. In other news, shared about a month ago, Persefone have parted ways with vocalist Marc Martins. More can be read below

I don't think it's bad news for the band. I always felt Marc Martins doesn't fit well in the spirits of Persefone. I like him, but I always had this feeling that he wasn't in the same tone than the rest.
Touring with Hypno5e turns the question to even more interesting thinks. I love that band!

I caught them in supporting slots in both 2022 and 2023 and he was missing both times (Danny Flys of Eternal Storm covered each time); for the first one in 2022, the keyboardist-vocalist was missing as well, so I thought this was just a one-off cursed tour, but after the 2023 show, I asked the stand-in, and he made it sound like Martins had left. Flys made it sound like it was a possibility that he would be permanently joining, but I've not seen anything announced from Persefone so perhaps not. I think it's a bit of a shame as I liked Martins' presence and vocals, but it shouldn't overly affect their progress going forward

Quite curious those absences. I saw them a few months ago and Toni Mestre was missing, too... and nobody was playing bass.

That's bad news but I'm pretty sure they all are skilled musicians who can find someone who can fill those shoes!
