Italy's Novembre have a new bass player. The band announced the following on their MySpace blog:
"The tormented role of bass player is passed on to Valerio Di Lella, already the band's live sound engineer for years, and singer of Death Metal band Grimness. Novembre, who recently parted company with Luca Giovagnoli, are glad to officially welcome Valerio on board.
In Valerio's own words: "I'm so thrilled to join this band, as being always on the road with them as a soundguy had made me one of them anyways. Moreover, we totally share the same musical tastes and I'm so digging the new songs which are taking shape these days".
Indeed, the band's just started the writing sessions for their next studio album. It's way too early to say anything about it except for the unmistakeable Novembre's style which is always there and ain't gonna be altered.
Meanwhile, "Classica" re-release is gonna be supported by an extensive European tour with Tiamat and The 69 Eyes in February and March 2009."

Ahh, it seems my Russian import of "Classica" will no longer be an interesting collectable to have But, I am glad it's being re-released - it's one of the band's best.
Looking forward to the new material of course as well! |
