I just noticed an album called "Sign Of The Homer" by Spanish project Jevo...this might be worth checking

I don't know about Nagararoth but I would like to know why you would classify Opeth as a joke band.

Nargaroth (do you mean them, or it is not a spelling mistake?) is "classical" black metal band...not more or less "joke" how Immortal or any other trve kvlt black metal

Does Macabre count? They did greatly influence grindcore, but they did seem like kind of a joke. Still, murder metal's great.

I seriously think you guys should stop including bands that are 'serious', AKA, that they're not deliberately a joke.

LOL also check out PORTAL live for a good laugh but the music is quite intense and atmospheric tho

I don't really know about that. They really don't take themselves seriously. I remembered that I read an interview where Abbath was asked about his opinions on the photoshopped pics of them on the internet and he said he found them hilarious
Dude's got a good sense of humor probably the design wasn't meant to be like that like you say... But I think Abbath would agree that the video is just funny.

I don't know about that, I could swear I've read somewhere that they are goofy on purpose. It would make a lot of sense, too, because Abbath doesn't take the whole Grim Kvlt Blek Methul thing seriously at all.

Heh, dunno, it's possible. I know that Abbath is a goofball though.

You guys should check out Morbid Angel. They're a pretty good joke band.

Hhahahah I knew you were going to post soon. I'm loving this... I really am. This is the biggest "lol u mad" I've seen in metal. This is almost as good as if they really released a good album.
