Ive been playing bass for 7 months....

What should i be able to do by now, because i always feel like i'm way behind where i should be.

You should go to a book store and purchase a bass grimoire that has a lot of bass tabs in it on how to learn how to play the bass...the grimoire is always a great place to start...

Buddy, I've been playing bass for 4 years and I still feel like I could be a whole lot better. Everybody in the world learns at a different pace. The important thing is to keep practicing regularly, not to get frustrated and not to give up. What kind of stuff can you do now? Any full songs you can cover?

I can only fully cover for whom the bell tolls and kids of the black hole and i can get up to the solo in money by pink floyd

And i know the like 5 scales
