I see no one has mentioned Black Shape Of Nexus. Absolutely crushing, utterly riff-based sludge (except the Microbarome Meetings album which is pure drone) from Germany. They have a couple of releases available for download on their website, especially the Live in Mannheim tape is devastating. I've given a shot to pretty much their whole discography and you can't go wrong with these guys.

Cool name, cool post-rock.

Yep good album. Most of their releases are really good. If you like them then check out "Long Distance Calling". More dynamic and creative than ITTCT.

Very popular and mainstream release but I do dig it. Post-hardcore, again don't be scared.

Dunno, I like LDC but I always thought ITTCT created much better atmospheres, I especially like their first album, some tracks have insane moods there.

I have been getting into this sort of stuff lately. I feel kind of commercialized and teeny-bop-ish but it's still good music nonetheless.
Experimental post hardcore/post rock from the UK. I'm curious to know if anyone likes this.

Wait there's more? I'll see if I can search around for those other tracks. The throat vocals were interesting but yeah, though I didn't find them immediately off-putting the other vocals aren't exactly impressive.

Edit: That Handwrist one sounds interesting

If you've heard Taint, these guys are along the similar lines as it is Jimbob's project after Taint disbanded.
If you haven't, then I would say these guys are sludgy noise rock.

They have an EP out but they apparently have an album for 2013, from the looks of the EP I think the album should be quite cool
