I'm probably going to sign up for an Egg one too that's for pick up the same location. Only $.50 more than supermarket eggs. I'd be crazy to not do that.
We grow our own vegetables and peaches but we know a friend with a cattle farm out here so we get from them but it’s not delivered, though that would be really nice

One of the alluring aspects of Devin Townsend's genius is that none of his albums are the same. Constantly trying something new, each album a contrast to the last, Epicloud is no different.
I found a really cool interview with Anneke talking about her experience recording Epicloud. From her perspective, it sounds like it could be very promising. I look forward to it
That was really hyping, new version of Kingdom sounds fantastic.
How come this is the first stage of the recording but the drummer records with what seems to be the complete songs as reference? Did Devin record a first version of the album with average sound? First time I see that, sounds like a good idea.

A lot of bands go into the studio with demoed versions of songs.
I saw his tour with katatonia and he put on a great show, DT probably had better showmanship then Katatonia but I didn't stay around for them. They are selling Epicloud on the tour so I snagged a copy. Devin doesn't disappoint on this record I'd say.

I read somewhere voice-overs are on the songs with his comments on each song? And I heard that the album is completely different than what fans are used to?

Do you know the setlist for Devin?
Ya i saved it on my phone. the set was; Kingdom, Regulator, Planet of the Apes, More!, Lucky Animals, War, Vampira, and Grace.
He sounds so... happy. The re-recorded version of Kingdom is excellent.
Ya and yaaa! and happy with a true understanding perhaps. He seems to build more of an understanding for life with each release. Progressive as a really progressive thing.

He posted (very briefly) a steam of the album with his comments about every song on youtube. This was not the final version of the album, simply a listening party. The album has leaked now, so I can attest to the fact that this voice over is not on the album!
That album is just all I needed right now. Love all the songs but the remake of Kingdom is absolutely brilliant. Can't wait to see him live in November!
I came to say that, he certainly had a valid purpose for re-recording this song.
And he was serious about naming this album epicloud, it's a very accurate description indeed. So much energy.

Same here! Katatonia was amazing I was surprised to see Epicloud on sale. It feels awesome having Epicloud a bit earlier then its official release and yes, its a killer release
Uahh. I've got strange feeleing about this album. I was waiting for it since I read that Devin is workin' on new stuff, but this release is a bit dissapointin'. It's sounds too poppy and commercial for me. Don't understand me wrong, it's good album, but good technically. Epicloud is a mix of Deconstruction and Ghost - for me - not good mix. Hope that Z2 will be good.
Couldn't make it past the first two tracks....does it get better er.......????
Those are the two singles, so probably yes.
But... on a second thought, every song on the album could be a single Anyway, it's worth a full listen or at least make sure you don't miss "Kingdom".
Loved this album. And am I the only one that thinks some of the new demos are absolutely beautiful? Happy Birthday and Heatwave are brilliant tracks
Not at all! I almost wish the demos were just mastered like the main disc and that Epicloud was released as an actual 2 disc set because I thought some of those tracks were really awesome.
