my freind has the same problem with no sound online... it is something with your soundcard

YOUTUBE SOUNDCARD ISSUES

The cause: I had the same problem when I was experimenting with all kinds of speaker configurations... Youtube, and most websites use Macromedia Flash media players that only encode a 2 channel sound, for the common, minimal, stereo speakers. Therefore there is no sound comming from the rest of the speakers [back left, back right, center, subwoofer etc.]

The sollution: Most soundcards have three sockets: MICROPHONE [red], LINE OUT [green], LINE IN [blue]. The basic, most commoly used sound comes from LINE OUT, hence the green colour on some speaker/headphone jacks.
It's possible, that people experiencing no sound, have their speakers connected to an alternative socket. If they want to hear sound from web sites, they should have a set of speakers connected to LINE OUT. If they switched to other sockets due to some blasphemous interference, they should try installing the latest motherboard, soundcard and DirectX drivers. I was sometimes getting interference on LINE OUT. It usually kicked in when I installed and ran a high-end [at the time, anyway], DirectX 8+ application like "Command & Conquer Generals". It messed up the hardware encoding. New drivers fixed them.
If they don't, reinstall the OS...

That video is taken from the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival 2003. It also had a killer live performance of "The Idiot Box". If only the "The Art of Touring" could have been half of good as this performance recordings (yes, I don't get enough of my whining regarding that DVD).

That tour wasn't limited to Metalcore as one could think by reading the name of the tour "Metal & Hardcore" for that tour and DVD also featured performances from Opeth, Lacuna Coil and Meshuggah. Thus, there were bands from Metal, Metalcore and Hardcore featured in the list. The DVD is pretty good for it featured performances of those geat bands I just mentioned along with Lamb Of God, The Hunted, Unearth, Killswitch Engage, Himsa (they should have been in the main stage instead of the second one but anyway), Most Precious Blood, etc. Well, at least I like those bands.

I am forced to wait until the next Monday in order to watch that live performance of "To Ashes" because I am at my house and the connection here is very slow to the point that it takes me like an hour (no exaggerations" in order to fully stream a video off YouTube. But as soon as I get to my University the next week I'll give a look at it.

That is good to hear, thanks. I think that Cradle of Filth did a great work when they covered that blasphemous song from Iron Maiden.

Shit, I forgot to say that that DVD also has satanic performances of Converge. I don't know how I forgot about them. :S
