well i know almost everyone on forum said hwat they think or don't think about Amorphis, (my fav band of all times)
but im sure lots of memebrs here will or allready did saw Amorphis live on this new Euro Tour, so if u can tell us more about those shows, how was it what setlist was etc....
and what do u think about Amorphis new album Eclipse

I have lliked amorphis for a while, and the only album that I didn't think fit their bill to well was Ad Universum. That's probably the only material they put out that did thurougly bore me. They're really good at making something sound eerily dreamy in a way. It's why the rest of it worked for me.

On bands myspace you can hear all the songs of the new album. imo it is not as good as silent waters...

At least all the Finnish copies of the album have a bug on the track 8. The volume goes down for almost 30 seconds. Amorphis didn't wanna make new copies, they decided to sell those with the bug. I haven't heard the new album yet, but my sister has it, so I'm gonna listen to it as soon as possible.

Message from Esa Holopainen & Amorphis fellows. Dear Fans, As many of you may have noticed, the "Skyforger" digipak release includes two very little sound level errors. We heard about this yesterday and you can imagine how we feel. As we don't have the actual copies ourselves, we as a band couldn't react any earlier, which makes this more painful. The album for which we gave 100% percent of ourselves, a lot of time and work, shouldn't end up like this. The sound level errors occur for a few seconds on two tracks: "My Sun" (piano fill) and "Skyforger" (middle part). Why did this happen? Due to a mastering error. We can't blame anyone for this as it seems that it has really been a technical problem and at this point it makes no difference anyway. The good news is that Nuclear Blast are working hard to get replacement CDs for people who want to exchange their copy. Another good fact is that all other formats (jewel-case, US- & JAPAN editions, all digital versions, vinyl) work perfectly. One thing on which we also work now in this moment is something that can't replace the actual CDs but is at least a little relief: Nuclear Blast is offering free downloads for "My Sun" and "Skyforger" via download: http://nuclearblast.de:8080/amorphis-cv/ Beside all this mess I really hope and believe you can enjoy the album! I just love the new album. I've been listening to it all day. I haven't even noticed the sound level errors yet, so maybe there's something wrong with my hearing. I can't wait for the gigs this summer.

I'm from Chile... and we are waiting so may years for see the band here... now they are come, but suporting to Children Of Bodom in 10-9-2009 http://www.metalstorm.ee/events/event.php?event_id=34551 I do not have problems with COB, but i think Amorphis is a biga band... They should think of making a presentation alone what u think???

Well I finally listened to Skyforger. I had listened to silver brideand I liked it, even if it's kinda radio friendly. Well after checking teh whole album I realise the whole album is kinda radio-friendly. Which doesn't mean it's a bad abum, it's a very good album, even if it's not as amazing as eclipse.

Just got Skyforger and I've listened to it like 6 or 7 times now, and it just keeps getting better for me. I think the whole album is great. Sampo is definitly my favorite song, I can't get it out of my head.

Amorphis seriously rocks.. atmospheric melodic heavy metal? is there such a genre? if so Amorphis must be playing it. i couldn't get to their show here since the price was ridiculously high(i wouldn't go if they came back next week tbh if they had the same 80 ron price tag)
