Here you can share with your fellow metalstormers your sorrow, your frustration of missing those concerts. Do not forget to tell us why you missed them.
As for me, the last concert I missed was Dream Theater playing at our capital. Why did I miss these Progressive Metal deities? I had no way of getting into San Juan that night so I had to miss it.

The big city closest to my town is Montreal, which is a great metal city: almost all European bands who go on a n-american tour start with Quebec city and then go on to Montreal, so they're all fresh and fit. And local bands are great too. But it's still 2hrs away, so I miss gigs all the time and it sucks... Haven't attended a show since january 2009... But I'm moving to Montreal next fall cause I go to university, so I'm gonna go to metal shows ALL THE TIME! Yay!

Mayhem.... I missed Mayhem last summer. I was looking forward to it for months, I read the setlist and it was boner-inducing, and a day before the show I got really sick. So I didn't go. I was in a suicidal mood for two weeks. To this very day, I still can't forgive myself, since I doubt I'll have a chance to see them again. Why....why.....why.....WHYYYYY?!?!?!

Just missed As I Lay Dying and Winds Of Plague last Saturday because my friends all decided that they had better things to do, didn't take of work, etc. Its ok tho bc I've seen each of them multiple times and it was at a shitty venue. Would have liked to hear a new WOP song tho... oh well. Just saw Cradle Of Filth last night and it was epic. Definitely made up for the disappointment.

Deicide last year. I didn't have money and it wasn't so important for me to borrow. About going alone - it sure is more fun with friends, but I think someone should be INSANE to miss a favourite band because one has no company.

I ended up missing the Death Angel concert here last Saturday because I don't have a car right now and couldn't get a ride from anyone, which is what I had been counting on to get me there. Was looking forward to that show for a long ass time, but shit happens, what are ya gonna do?

I just missed Amon Amarth in Denver the other day. It was sold out when I got there. WTF?! Metal shows are never sold out in Denver! That's why I rarely buy tickets online. No point in spending on "convenience fees" when I can always get it at the box. Anyway, lesson learned. Amon Amarth are taking over the world and I won't make the mistake of undermining their popularity again.

Never do that again dude, I missed one test and one presentation but they weren't so bad as I told all my teachers several weeks before leaving. Unless the test are REALLY (and I mean it, REAAAAAALLY) important... The concert is always the better choice  Unless your parents don't let you... then you're fucked

I had to give away my ticket to see Opeth a few weeks ago due to the birth of my Daughter. Ahhh......priorities. At least one of my friends bought me an Opeth shirt as a consolation. It would have been my 2nd time seeing them and I heard it was a fantastic show - much better than Seattle's version.

The last concert I missed was Judas Priest a couple of days ago, I noticed the concert quite late and I was also short of money. Didn't really regret though, I already saw them at Wacken where they gave a excellent show. Now I'm really looking forward to Twisted Sister christmas show and Sympony X + Iced Earth + Warbringer and when I'm back in The Netherlands I still have Black Sabbath and Wacken to look forward to

I'm gonna miss Morbid Angel somewhere this month here in my hometown, Vosselaar. The reason I'm not going is because the next day I have exams. Just the fact that David fuckin' Vincent and Trey motherfucking Azagthoth will be walking around in my shithole town is too hard for me to bear. Prolly gonna kill myself.
