Haha yeah, guess that message from him is an acknowledgement that he'll never release the album |
|
|
|
We shall see, you never know...
Even I have actually set my hopes high that this album will be released some "Time" in the near future! |

A nice compilation from a variety of genres this would make. Good work...us.
All joking aside, it's really nice to see the musicians' responses. Top-notch down-to-earth, humble responses. And kudos mostly to Jari for his gamesmanship. |

Quote: People, us included, might question how Black Metal we actually are - the main point is the compliment that we cherish deeply. As much as we sail by the rule of making music to satisfy our own artistic hunger
Say no more... no artist should ever have to justify what they do. It doesn't matter what people think, as long as there are genuine reasons behind it, people will always be attracted to true beauty. |

|
| Lol, and he reveals nothing about the time album. |
|

Hhahahah Jari's answer is fucking win, totally trolling the impatient fanboys
It's nice to see how down-to-earth some metal musicians are... |

Well done
I'd like to highlight the fact that In Mourning's Monolith was the staff pick. I think it deserved that thoroughly. |

I enjoyed reading the Artists' feedback, the picks weren't what I expected in some categories but its fine either way |
|
|
|
| It's cool to read the feedbacks. It makes you realize the awards aren't just a game between us metalstormers and that they "serve as a motivational fuel to keep working harder and harder, to travel further and further". |

Is the Jari quote genuine?
yep. otherwise it would be libel. or slander. or some other shifty, illegal practice that would erode our credibility. |

In this case, that would be libel, which is written defamation. Slander is pretty much the same thing, but it applies to oral defamation. |

| Cool to see some feedback from these artists, and agreed on a lot of the picks. |

| Really nice to read bands' feedback. |

Happy to see Haken get the stuff award in the prog section. I would expect Echoes to get that. As far Thrash, am I missing something? All the highly-praised albums including Helstar's are totally boring for me.
The artists' feedback is pretty cool I have to admit, and it actually must have made MS staff proud. |

| Enslaved are actually a band caring for genre boundaries. Who'd have thought that. You usually hear the typical "we don't want to be labeled" crap. |
|

Haha, Jari one of the mysteries of our "Time". |

^ This. Artistic integrity matters the most, for sure. |

huh? not exactly sure what you are asking here. the quote follows, and Wintersun is mentioned:
Jari of Wintersun:
I'm sure this award was meant only for me, since I'm responsible of the delay. So I will take the honor&glory for it and I want to say that it's my first "Time" for winning any award, so thank you! It's nice to be remembered. |

Wintersun won the "biggest letdown" award for the second year, for not releasing Time |

| Wow that's pretty sweet that some musicians actually took the time to respond. Couldn't believe the Jari response was real. Awesome. |
