If this had been made by one person, it'd be a safe bet that that one person was a classic hard rock aficionado who'd been struck by lightning. After the strike, he didn't ditch his Pontiac or his jean jacket or his hatred of the Eagles, he just happened to acquire the ability to easily spot complex mathematical patterns in things. Not unheard of. He took up computational geometry or some such, kind of like that one guy in that one documentary I saw on YouTube, and kept his penchant for V8s and dive bars. This guy would have violent mood shifts due to the strike messing with his serotonin balances or something too, as it seems all mathematicians ever have had.

Bleeder is sort of a technical hard rock album, and one that occasionally throws hardcore fists. It's really good. Reminds me a bit of Martyrdöd's Elddop, just more gas-hungry and with a fatter muffler. Reminds me of Converge too (whose drummer is also a member of Mutoid Man and All Pigs Must Die), if Converge lit a spliff, drank a 6-pack and learned how to have a good time.

Compartmentalizing it all, none of the parts that this thing consists of suck. None of the songs suck either. None of this sucks. Vocals are excellent, guitar-work is excellent, drumming is excellent, bass is tasty, mixing is unassuming and therefore doesn't get in Mutoid Man's way and is therefore excellent, etc. There's not one bit that highlights over any other bit--it's cohesive and organic and all that. No complaints for a listen that's as fun as it is actually and unpretentiously interesting.
