Agree this is a brutal list. I haven't heard a lot of these so I guess I'm not the big death metal fan I thought I was. No place for anything by Entombed?
Nah man, somehow i've never been into Entombed i think it's just not brutal enough for me
it depend where are u from and for how long u've been in metal music ?
i'm sure that definitely i haven't heard about many good albums, but u just can't get to everything.
At The Gates and Six Feet Under (with their covers on Graveyard's) are classsic - just like them even if the are not to brutal
Arch Enemy does play Death - actually Melodic Death Metal
those albums my not be so brutal but they somehow are still death or part death metal and i like them
I had never listen to much of Entomed, maybe someday

Graveyard Classics is a terrible covers album
At the Gates were way better before Slaughter Of The Soul
And NO Arch Enemy even though peole mistakenly classify them as melodic death metal have nothing to do with melodic death metal anymore. The last album which could probably still be labeled as such, and even then only marginally was Wages Of Sin. People nowadyas call all the Gothenburg bands melodic death wehn in fact evry few have any death metal left in them. Dark tranquillity themselves for example would admit so...
